The Services we offer
Security Site Risk Assessment
Initially before the start of any project, we will want to come out and pay a site visit. The purpose of this visit is to get a feel geographically for where the development is going to take place, and of course the topography of the land.
Below are a sample of some questions that we ask during our Risk Assessment, that would establish what the perceived risk would be. The picture above is a typical protest camp that we would risk assess.
- what are the environmental issues?
- are there any protected species such as Greater Crested Newts or Bats that need relocating?
- who actually owns the land?
- are there any public footpaths to consider?
- where are you within the planning stages?
- what local support do you have?
- have there been or is there likely to be a public inquiry?
- what is the make up of the land mass?
- is it open land?
- is it a forest or woodlands?
- or maybe a mixture of all three?
- what are the soil conditions?
- are the water tables high or low?
Environmental Evictions
An environmental eviction is classified - as illegal occupation of your land by people who are determined to disrupt your operation by whatever means they deem necessary. This normally includes criminal damage to plant and machinery.
As Authorised High Court Enforcement Officers, when we are in possession of a Writ of Possession, we have all the powers, rights, privileges, and responsibilities that High Sheriffs’ once enjoyed prior to April 2004. Those powers contain powers of physical removal using reasonable force if necessary. Powers of arrest. We are also able to call upon the Posse Comitatus for assistance. That is of course, the Police Force, whom are duty bound to assist us in the execution of our duty.
A Writ of Possession must be issued in either the name of Martin Leyshon, Michael Robert Anderson or Philip Evans; this falls within the jurisdiction of the Court Act 2003, and the High Court Enforcement Officers Regulations of 2004. Once we are in possession of the Writ we can then, in conjunction with all the multi-agencies including you the landowner, start the process of safely removing the Protestors from your land.
Traveller Evictions
For all low profile Traveller Evictions we will appoint our sister company - High Court Enforcement Group Limited. For Traveller Evictions outside the norm, the N.E.T. will take control. We have a proven track record within this arena. We have assisted many other enforcement agencies who have a requirement for numbers and experience.
