Tree Enforcement Officer

This is where the spectacle normally takes place, bringing Protestors down from height. It takes a special type of Enforcement Officer to undertake this role. Get it wrong and someone will die, it is as simple as that.

These guys are fearless, working at height, and grappling with someone 60 feet above ground is not for the faint hearted. This part of the Team has been with the National Eviction Team since its inception in 1995, they have been on sites such as the Newbury by-pass eviction, Manchester Airport, Honiton by-pass where Swampy gained his notoriety and many more. They have the same training as the Ground Officers except that they spend at least 1000 hours per annum working at height maintaining their Level 3 IRATA qualification.
